Proud and amazed. Possibly the worst (wet, cold & miserable) summer I can remember in Scotland to date, yet, my little cherry tree soldiers on and pops (pun intended) her 1st cherry.

Awesome!! I love Scotland, and I have a lot of family who live there (: Sir William Wallace is my #1 hero, and I love to where kilts, and I play Scottish Fiddle (: So yeah…I love Scotland (and I really love the accent too). (:

That’s great. I’m born and bred here. I have often visited the home and gravesite of William Wallace & Rob Roy. I have never worn a kilt (nor do I have ginger hair lol). Where are you from?

I live in the U.S. I’m actually related to Rob Roy!! And I would absolutely love to see Sir William Wallace’s grave! I really want to visit Stirling Castle too (:

Have visited Stirling & Edinburgh castle many times. I recommend it if you could ever get across. Keep up to date with #Imageoftheday, as all my photography is in Scotland 🙂

Have you ever heard the story of how Edwin Ruthven, only fifteen, joined Wallace’s army, and entered Stirling Castle to find where Lord and Lady Mar were held, and barely escaped, but the attack and capture of Stirling probably would have failed without his heroic deeds? I love stories like that (: One of my favourite books is called ‘The Scottish Chiefs’ by Jane Porter. I would highly recommend it!!
